This is the one day of the year you can get back at your husband, wife, friends, family, boss, or co-workers by having them arrested! For five dollars we will go to where they are (in the local Machias area) and arrest them. We will take them to the town center where we will put them in the stocks or the pillory and have their picture taken. You can pick what you want them arrested for from the items listed below. If they refuse to come with us, they must pay us five dollars to leave them alone but they still must put on the sign and have their picture taken! Those pictures go onto our "Wall of Shame".
If you don't want to be bothered that day, you can purchase a Get Out of Jail Free Card ahead of time for $5.00 and give it to whomever is there to arrest you when they arrive. It's a gamble of course because you don't know if you will or will not be arrested that day! We never tell anyone who it was that had them arrested, that's up to you!
It's a lot of fun and it benefits a very worthy cause.
